Aeona uses two personality questionnaires from Finding Potential, a personality traits questionnaire based on the Big 5 model and an engagement questionnaire. Both are particularly relevant for people thinking about their career, changing jobs or finding fulfillment in their current role. Both are useful at an organisational level for maximising performance.
The FindingPotential personality questionnaire is based on the widely accepted 'Big 5' model of personality. The diverse array of human personality traits are effectively summarised by five broadly independent domains that are generally labelled as Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Emotional Stability (or "Resilience"). The FindingPotential Personality Questionnaire also includes lower level facets which are most likely to be relevant for workplace assessment and feed into each of the five traits.
It takes around 15 minutes to complete and provides fantastic outputs including reports on personality traits profile, a "Big 5" profile, team roles profile, and leadership and management report.
Why bother assessing personality variables? Personality constructs have been demonstrated to be useful for explaining and predicting attitudes, behaviours, performance and outcomes in a range of work settings (Ones, Dilchert et al, 2007). There is considerable evidence to suggest that, in addition to practical and cognitive skills, personality is important in predicting the accomplishment of a wide range of work tasks and overall job success.
Few people leave their jobs (or become disengaged) because of their inability to do the tasks they are required to perform. It is more likely there will be dissatisfaction with factors such as career progression, salary & rewards, work-life balance, relationships with colleagues or manager, or something else.
FindingPotential Engage is powerful tool that provides a unique insight into the relationship between the individual and the organisation they currently or will work in. It outlines the factors that are most important for the individual to feel engaged in their job/work and their commitment to any organisation.
It takes around 10 minutes to complete and provides a fantastic output in a seamless process.
